On 18 May 2022, Youth7 Delegates representing the G7 members as well partner Delegations from Indonesia, Senegal, South Africa and Ukraine adopted a comprehensive Communiqué and presented their Recommendations on key challenges from climate crisis mitigation, a just economic transformation, resilient democracies to global health and solidarity in a post-pandemic world. In light of conflict and war, Youth, Peace & Security was placed on the Y7 agenda.
We call upon the Group of Seven (G7) to follow the Youth7 policy recommendations on Sustainability, Economy, Democracy, Global Health and Youth, Peace & Security that are to be found in the Youth7 Communiqué.
We call for a progressive and future oriented G7 Summit - action in partnership for progress and justice is needed.
We kindly invite young leaders, youth activtists, youth oranisations and those in support for a strong young voice in the G7 to co-sign the Call to Action:
